Realme publishes the roadmap of its own customized UI based on ColorOS 7 and Android 10. Realme has also announced the official beta program for Realme X2 Pro users to test the UI software starting on December 18th. Realme custom UI will start hitting Realme devices from January 2020 and Realme XT and Realme 3 Pro will get the first update in January.
In February, Realme X and Realme 5 Pro will receive it and Realme X2 Pro in March. On April 2020, Realme 3 and Realme 3i will receive the update and Realme 5 and Realme 5s on May. Realme 2 Pro will get the update in June 2020 and finally Realme C2 will get the update in the third quarter of 2020.
Recently, Realme is working on custom UI based on ColorOS and the new software provided improved RAM management, smooth gaming graphics, and additional customization options. New customization includes the ability to change shape, size and font, the latest system icons, etc. Realme users will also get system-wide dark mode. The new custom UI will be closer to the stock Android 10 experience.
Realme publishes a statement, "The Beta testers from Realme X2 Pro, Project X and realme XT ColorOS 6.7 Beta, who have proven themselves to be valuable beta testers will also be given chance to try their hands on ColorOS 7 Beta testing. The final list of the Beta testers selected will be announced on 9th December. The work on Beta testing will be conducted for approximately 2 months starting from 18th December 2019 to February 2020. Information and feedback will be collected from the ColorOS 7 Beta program to further enhance the user interface experience better.”
