OnePlus launched 7T and 55-inch Q1 and Q1 Pro TV in India

OnePlus announced its next generation flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 7T along with the company’s first-ever smart TV product - the Q1. The 7T features a 6.55-inch AMOLED HDR10+ with a 90 Hz Fluid Display at 20:9 aspect ratio with 2400 x 1080 resolution at 402PPI. It has next-generation in-display fingerprint sensors that are more accurate and more secure. The device is certified by TUV Rheinland blue-light reduction allowing safer, and more comfortable nighttime reading.

The 7T has a triple rear camera setup, a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.6 aperture at 7P lens with OIS + EIS image stabilization. A 12MP 2X telephoto camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 16MP ultra wide-angle with field view up to 117 degrees at f/2.2 aperture to capture large group shots and landscapes. Nightscape is available on both the main camera and the ultra-wide-angle camera to take stunning night-time photos. The selfie shooter is a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor at f/2.0 aperture to capture quality pictures and support 1080p video recording at 30fps.

The 7T uses the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ with Qualcomm AI engine that delivers up to 2.95GHz clock speed and is paired with 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256 GB ROM with UFS 3.0. The Fnatic mode feature allows faster and smoother gaming performance for users. Dual stereo Dolby Atmos speakers produce more powerful, crisper and balanced sounds and Haptic vibration for experiencing strong, quiet vibration while typing, playing games, and receiving notifications. 7T has a 3800mAh battery and supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging technology that deliver 30W power. The device runs on OxygenOS based on the latest version of Android 10 and it’s priced at $537.34 for 8GB/128GB and $565.63 for 8GB/256GB variant.

The company has finally launched their own TV segment in India and it comes in two variants – the Q1, and Q1 Pro. Both variants are 55-inch 4K QLED display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and 95.7% screen-to-body ratio. The company gives Dolby Vision and Gamma Color Magic processor for immersive TV viewing experience and has enhancements such as MEMC, DE-Contour, Noise Cancellation, Super Resolution, and Dynamic Contrast. The device also has support for HLG, HDR 10 and HDR10+ to view brighter colors, blacker blacks and whites.

The TV delivers 50W from 8 speakers (Q1 Pro) with a sliding sound bar for immersive audio quality by Dolby Atmos. A full range of 4 speakers, 2 tweeters for the high notes and 2 x 10 W woofers assure dynamic sound experience. The TV comes with support for OxygenPlay, Android 10, Google Assistant and Google Play Store to perform integrated experience. It has Built in Chromecast for casting photos, videos or music to share media across devices.

The TV and smartphone is linked with the OnePlus Connect App that connect your device easily with Type Sync, Quick App Switch and Smart Volume Control. The device support Smooth Motion rate of 480. OnePlus TV remote is designed with aluminum finish with smartphone-like volume keys on the side. No apparent power on/off button, but there are dedicated buttons such as Google assistant and Amazon Prime Video and standard navigational keys. The Q1 smart TV is priced $987.79 and the Q1 Pro at $1411.74.
