Microsoft is developing passwordless log-ins for Windows 10 generation in their future systems. According to reports, the company has released a new method called Fast Ring, a new option that enables biometric log-in feature for users accounts. Windows also added a PIN, fingerprint sensor and face recognition method for users
Recently, the company announced new Insider Preview Build 18936 for Windows 10. This feature enables the Phone Screen feature for all Surface devices and enables passwordless sign-ins. Phone screen feature allows users to mirror screens from their Android device and directly into their Windows 10 PC.
To enable password free options in Microsoft, go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and turn on the passwordless option. Users can switch all accounts into their Windows 10 device to use Hello Face, Fingerprint or PIN only. If you don't have Hello set up, the operating system will guide you on how to enable these sign-in methods. Recently, The company has released new security updates for Windows 7, with telemetry file compatibility
The new updates contain security and patch fixes, to enable a smooth system experience for Windows 7 users. Today electronic products like smartphones, tablets, wearable devices, and system products are rolling out with biometric technologies.
The company is planning to allow people to remove the password option entirely from Windwos 10 login screens and accounts. Tech giants like Apple, Google, and Microsoft are following advanced biometric technologies to access system and accounts logins without any passwords. The feture is currently on the beta testing phase and Microsft plans to launch it soon so that users are able to experience advanced and password less login methods.
