GitHub, Microsoft owned platform released its new mobile app for iOS and Android as a free download. The app designed for developers to manage their projects without PC to organize tasks, feedback on the issue, react to comments, review and manage pull requests.

GitHub inbox and notifications are similar to Gmail as you can swipe either to save or mark them as complete.

Users can respond to comments with emoji and apps also let you view code but unable to edit code within the app. The app beta version was initially launched on iOS in November and Android in January.

Microsoft acquired GitHub for $7.5 billion in June 2018 and ended in October 2018.
