The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Fan Edition will be launched shortly, depending on a recent German product page found by WinFuture. The tablet seems to be a rebranded version of the earlier leaked “Galaxy Tab S7 Plus Lite,” which surfaced in March 2021. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE is the first fan edition of the 12.4-inch Tab S7 Plus Samsung notebook inspired by the iPad Pro.
The Tab S7 FE features a Snapdragon750G octa-core and 4GB RAM processor. The Processor is another step to reduce costs. The tablet has UFS ram 64 GB and can be extended with the MicroSD slot, partially used with the One UI skinned version of Android 11. The Tab S7 FE maintains its optional 5G support for luxurious siblings.
The Tab S7 FE has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera, which is ideal for tablet photographers. The Tab S7 FE's selfie camera is in landscape orientation, which is ideal for long Zoom calls, which is a bonus for someone who has asked about camera orientation on the iPad Pro. The FE has a 10,090mAh battery to get you through those long calls, which Samsung claims will last up to 12 hours on LTE and 13 hours for video streaming. Weirdly, no calculation is given for 5G.
The FE can be purchased with an extra S Pen, which can be used for note-taking functions such as translating writing to text. When you connect a keyboard to the tablet, Samsung DeX immediately adds Windows-like features like a taskbar, windowing, and a "Start menu." It's tougher to tell if either of those tablet features will transform the FE into a real productivity platform for you. Rather than a full day of work, we considered the Tab S7 and S7 Plus to be better for easier tablet activities like video viewing and web surfing. The Fan Edition makes no indication that this will be the case.

The Galaxy Tab S7 Fan Edition is currently unavailable in Germany (you can sign up to be alerted when it becomes available), and it costs €649 (roughly $792) in silver or black. That's less than the average price of a Galaxy Tab S7 in Germany (€698) and a €979 S7 Plus with a larger frame. If the Tab S7 FE is released in the United States, it would most likely be cheaper than the rough translation of the German price to US dollars.
