Facebook tests a new tool to transfer photos, videos to Google

Facebook tested its new tool for users to transfer images and videos on Google Photos and other online services, it will be officially available in Ireland first and processed to other countries after user feedback. The company's latest tool will officially debut in 2020 worldwide. Whether Facebook’s control of personal data as a means to control the competition and minimize customer choices that is being analyzed by US and European regulators. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg explained about the new rules to deal with “data portability” and other issues. Facebooks' Data Transfer Projects includes major brands such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Twitter, and others.

Facebook's new data portability tools were worked by associating and discussing with policymakers, regulators, and academics from UK, Germany, Brazil, and Singapore sectors to study about data protection privacy. Steve Satterfield, Director of Privacy and Public Policy explains, “the company is developing products that take into account the feedback we've received and will help drive data portability policies forward by giving people and experts a tool to assess."
